Freaky Friday~

Well, hello there.
I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend, or maybe just some time to relax, that's good too.
In last weeks blog I mentioned Tyler was going to come down for the weekend...
Well, he didn't. His sister left without him so that sucked quite a bit.
But Tyler will be here today in just a few hours and I cannotttt waiiiiit. (:

So today I woke up at 6:25am in a panic because for school I generally wake up at 6am and I grabbed a bunch of clothes ran into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and then remembered... It's Friday.
I was so mad at myself. Hahha.

Today I also read some comic books Tyler has been wanting me to read.
Civil war is about how some of the superheroes believe they should reveal their identities, which is led by Iron Man, and work for the government and the other half, led by Captain America, believes that things should stay the way they are.
It's really good.
It's 7 separate comic books but you can buy the collection of all 7.
I really recommend it to anyone that likes Marvel anything.
It has Captain America, Iron Man, the Fantastic 4, Spiderman, Thor, the Punisher, S.H.I.E.L.D., and a IDK a million other super heroes and a couple of super villains.

This is just a collection of a few different chapters from Deadpool and X-Men.
I don't know much about comic books but I love Deadpool.
He is notorious for always breaking the 4th wall and talking to the audience.
He also makes really random references, like Grey's Anatomy and Dancing with the Stars.
Hahahaha, yeah, I don't know. He's ridiculous.

So last weekend out of my boredom I watched quite a few movies.
I'd been wanting to watch this for awhile and finally got to.
I liked it. I mean, it was kind of weird.
Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson's relationship was really hard for me to understand, though.
It was kind of mostly a hipster movie, though.
Hahaha.

I've seen this movie way to many times. Haha.

I loooove this movie.
I would love to read the graphic novel someday.
And this movie had some of the best cinematography I've ever seen.
If you've never seen this (even though it came out in 2005...) I definitely recommend it.

Always gotta top it off with a little bit of anime, haha.
This is probably my favourite Miyazaki movie.
Yup, I like it more than Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro.
I just want to be Sophie and for Howl to fall in love with me.
It should be me!

Last Saturday I saw the play The Foreigner at the Covina Playhouse with Jessica, Snell, and my parents.
It was pretty funny.
Kind of a ridiculous plot:
This guy from England goes on vacation in Georgia and his friend Froggy tells the people at the hotel he doesn't speak English so he doesn't have to talk to anyone.
And then Idk, there is hicks and the KKK and it's ridic.
Hahahha.
But it was pretty funny, I'd say.

This weekend I also got to hang out with Emily and the was pretty awesome.
We got to catch up on stuff and eat Subway.
Haha.

Nothing too interesting happened this week.
But I did finish a knitting project!
I like it but for some reason one half is way bigger. ):
I still have half of the skein left so I might try and make another one.
I just have no idea why it happened!

I also started knitting a lobster.
But it doesn't have any legs yet... Haha.
I think I'm doing pretty well for my first ever knitted toy.

Well, I think I'm going to go clean a bit, listen to Tunng, and hopefully finish this lobster.
Have a good weekend. (:

Freaky Friday~

Salut! Comment ça va?
Bien, merci~~~
Lol, look. I know some française.
I kind of want to incorporate more French into my conversations, like Spanglish but... Frenlish.
But then I remember how embarrassed I am about my accent. Haha.
I'll get over it someday.
Like when I can say real sentences, probablyyy.

So anyways, how was your week?
Mine was pretty chillllll.

Last Friday Tyler was herreeeee.
And it was awesomeee.
And Vance and his girlfriend are laggers/flakes.
Yeah, I said it.
So what?
Hahahhaa.
And on Saturday we went to Philippe's!
The birthplace of the French dipped sandwich.
Oh, and they also have theee hottest mustard I have ever eaten in my life.

After that we went to Little Tokyo and walked around.
I got some paper for paper stars and this awesome Totoro shirt~
This picture is also on my Flickr.

Then we came home and chilled and napped a bit.
We thought the play was 8 only realize it was 7.
So Tyler and I got ready really fast and went to GameStop so I could preorder Pokemon SoulSilver.
Then we went to Royal Oak and talked to Dillon Turnquist a little and went inside.
Btw the play is called A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
I thought it was pretty funny.
And I loved the sets and costumes.
Made me wanna sew some costumes~~~
I mean, there are some people that I'm always gonna hate but whatevs.
Hahaha.
So yeah, good work everyone! <3

Also, I talked to Graz and it made me sad.
It made me miss drama (a little).
Hahaha.
People always ask me if I miss drama and I don't know what to say.
I miss drama when Max was still there and there was LJJ.
And I miss the fun times where everyone is laughing, not the last minute times where everyone is stressed out and mean.
So yeaaahhhh.

On Sunday Tyler and I went and picked up my copy of Pokemon~
It's so awesome.
I chose Chikorita as my starter because she's my favouriteee.
I haven't played that much but that should change pretty sooooon~~~

Tyler and I hung out and ate the Hat and ice cream and then he left around 7pm.
It sucked. ):
And then I had to make up all the homework I put off which also sucked.

Monday I just went to school, you know.
It was boring.
But I did finish the book we've been reading for my English class.
It's called Play it as it Lays.
It's set in the 1960s and really weird.
It's about an actress and about her life and how she's pretty much insane.
It's a really fast read too. You could read it in less than a day. Maybe less than half a day. Haha.
I recommend it to everyone. Unless you're stupid. Because no one in my English class understood it and I can't figure out why. It's a really easy read...

On Monday night I fell asleep at 9pm still fully dressed and laying on my bed sideways, haha.
And then Tuesday morning at 4am I was awoken by an earthquaaaaakeeeee.
It was a 4.4 and a little scary.
But I didn't panic or anything because I'm a man and stuff.
Hahaha.
And then Tuesday I didn't do much, just homework.
Oh and I found out Tunng released a new CD on March 1st.
It's called "...And Then we Saw Land"
And it is really good.
Tunng is such a good band.
I really recommend you check them out.

This is Tyler and I's favourite Tunng song "Jenny Again".
It's from their "Comments of the Inner Chorus" album.
It's good, right?
Yeah, I knooowwww.

Wednesday was okay.
Another groggy school day.
But I got out of math an hour early and then had a strawberry milkshake and that was pretty tight.
And that night I finished watching "Freaks & Geeks".
It's a show made by Judd Apatow that aired from 1999-2000.
There was only one season.
And it sucks because it was such a good show and I know the second season would have been great. ):
Oh welllll.

I also watched the movie Trainspotting.
I don't know why I did that since I hate shots and the movie is about heroin addicts...
Hahaha.
But it was good, and I love Ewan McGregor is everything.
He is a sexxxyyyyy maaan~~~
Hahaha.

Yesterday I did quite a bit actually.
I woke up because Grace was here!
She's the 'house cleaner'.
She doesn't do much. Vaccuums, mops, breaks stuff.
She has broken a lot of stuff but she still keeps coming back! (:
Ugh.
Anyways.

I was chilling and then Laurren came over for a little bit because she was in the area and we got Rite-Aid ice cream and it ruuuled, haha.
Then she left and I took a shower and then hung out with Michelle.
We drove around and walked around and ended the night with some ice cream!
Hahahhaa.
Then I took my self portrait for Self Portrait Thursday and realized that that's what the majority of my pictures on Flickr were and was very annoyed about it.
So I took some pictures of Veronica and Jessica~~~

The rest of them can be found on my Flickr.
Please tell me what you think! (:

And today I've just been laying in bed because sometimes it's nice to just lay in bed. (:

Tyler is going to be coming sometime today and that'll be tiiight.
I hope you have a good weekend, I know I will.
<3

Freaky Friday~

What's up party people?
Have a good week?
Excited for the weekend?
I am yes, on both of those. Hahhaa.
So omg, last week I finished my blog and then was just watching The Office on Hulu when Laurren texts me saying "are you coming?"
I totally forgot I had to take her to the airport.
I felt terrible.
But I got to her house in record time, and then she was the lagger. Hahaha.
I took her to the airport and she made it.
But man, that sucked so bad.
Haha.

And on Saturday night I went with Luna and her mom the "The Little Mermaid" ballet at Citrus College!
It was presented by Inland Pacific Ballet and was really good.
Just the costumes annoyed me a little, haha.
And I hate knowing the history of fashion because all I'm thinking is,
"That guys top is from the 1700s but his breeches are the Middle Ages! Also, that hat has never existed in history... Ever."
But the dancing and the props were amaaaaazing.
I loveeed it~

30 Rock
So recently I decided I would finally watch 30 Rock and I downloaded season 1 and now I'm hooked.
I'm almost done with season 3 and then the season that is airing right now is season 4 and I'll be all caught up.
This show is absolutely hilarious.
It's about a bunch of writers and actors who make a show that is basically SNL and man, I am always rofl-ing at it.
Hahhaha.
If you haven't seen it you should check it ouuuut.

So I promised Emily I'd knit her a headband months ago and I finally finished it!
The yarn is yellow with gold thread and it's super fine.
And it took me way longer than it should have.
I gave it to Emily today and she liked it so I'm pretty happy about that.

So Tyler's laptop finally died this week.
He got a new one with... A webcam!
Omg now we can Skyyyype. (:
It's lolllll~~~

I don't have much else to talk about.
I hope you have a good weekend.
Bye. (:

Freaky Friday~

Sorry I missed last week.
I was in Clovis celebrating Tyler's 19th birthday and our 3 year anniversary.
On Friday we went to Japanese Kitchen with his mom, dad, sister, and her bf.
Japanese Kitchen is teppan-yaki, like Shogun and Benihana, and it was soooo good.
And they sang happy birthday to Tyler in Japanese. :3
For our anniversary we went to Dai Bai Dang on Saturday.
It's our favourite place to go have dates at.
The food is Asian cuisine, they have Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and other Asian foods and it was suuuper good.
It was a pretty awesome weekend.

Oh and for Tyler's birthday I knitted him the Cthulhu Dice Bag.
This was my first time knitting with 2 colours and it was pretty easy!
Can you see the little octopus/squid things?
Hahaha.

So last week I started my second semester of college and my schedule ruuuuules.
I only have class Monday and Wednesday.
8:00am  Earth Science
9:50am  English 1A
12:10pm  French 1
4:15pm  Math 71

I like my classes so far.
Yeah it does suck having to wake up at 6am but I only have to 2 days of the week so it's not that big a deal.
Oh, and my math class ends at 6:45pm. That sucks too but it's worth it.

Oh and I learned a trick from Dr. Oz!
When you first wake up, get up.
Don't hit snooze or fall back asleep.
If you get up you'll be less tired through out the day.
Seriously, I've been doing that when I have to go to school and I've really noticed a difference.
Especially since yesterday I woke up at 7am (I went to bed at 10pm) and I was like, no, it's my day off!
And slept until 9:30am and I was yawning allllll dayyyyyy.

I really love crafting tattoos.
I want a crafting sleeve on my right forearm, so a half sleeve, haha.

Guess what I finally watched?
Yesssssssssss this movie is sooo funny.
And now I wanna watch Bend It Like Beckham and I wish I owned Bride & Prejudice. Haha.
But this movie is hilarious.
And whoever thinks British people speak English they are wrong. Dead wrong.
Hahahahha.

So last week I heard a cover of "Blue Monday" by New Order and I was pissed.
And I was gonna write a blog about how much I hate cover songs when I hear about this.
Okay, here's the track listing.

  • 1. Hit The Lights – “More Than A Feeling” (originally recorded by Boston)
  • 2. VersaEmerge – “Paint It Black” (originally recorded by The Rolling Stones)
  • 3. The Almost – “Free Fallin’” (originally recorded by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers)
  • 4. Mayday Parade – “We Are The Champions” (originally recorded by Queen)
  • 5. The Summer Set – “Rock ‘n Roll All Nite” (originally recorded by KISS)
  • 6. We The Kings – “Caught Up In You” (originally recorded by .38 Special)
  • 7. A Skylit Drive – “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” (originally recorded by Journey)
  • 8. I See Stars – “Your Love” (originally recorded by The Outfield)
  • 9. Pierce The Veil – “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” (originally recorded by Blue Oyster Cult)
  • 10. Forever The Sickest Kids – “Crazy Train” (originally recorded by Ozzy Osbourne)
  • 11. The Maine – “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (originally recorded by Def Leppard)
  • 12. Envy On The Coast – “All Along The Watchtower” (originally recorded by Jimi Hendrix)
  • 13. Every Avenue – “Take Me Home Tonight” (originally recorded by Eddie Money)
  • 14. Never Shout Never – “Bohemian Rhapsody” (originally recorded by Queen)
  • 15. Blessthefall – “Dream On” (originally recorded by Aerosmith)

First off, I don't know if you know this but none of these bands are punk!
Punk is The Misfits, Circle Jerks, TSOL, Dead Kennedy's, and you know, nothing on this list.
And the worst part is that these are all good songs.
Songs I grew up listening to and songs I love today.
And now whenever I turn on the radio I'm gonna hear some shitty cover and just be angry.
I hate music this generation.
Oh god I sound like a retard saying that.
Hahhaha. I mean, I like new music just not covers.
It's so annoying.
The original version was good, why do you have to ruin it? ):

S'mores
Not last summer but the summer before LJJ and Tyler and Jessica would eat s'mores, like, everyday.
We always had graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows in the pantry.
And we had a special s'mores maker.
God I miss that.
I want s'mores and to hang out and laugh and yeah.
Haha.

Jirachi
Tyler and I went to Gamestop and totally got Jirachi.
Yeah, we're cool. :3

Manatee necklace
(found here)
I have always loved manatees.
They were my favourite when I was a kid.
And omg this necklace is the coolest thing I have ever seeeeen.

Hahahhaha omg.
Wednesday before school I was listening to Mark & Brian on 95.5 and they had kids doing things.
Like playing the recorder, telling jokes, and singing.
The best kid won their parents tickets to a concert like Rush, the Eagles, or something else, whatever.
And the last one was a little girl who was only 2 and a half telling a joke.
Here's how it went at first

Knock knock
Who's there?
Fish
Fish who?
Knock knock!
Who's there?
Tank
Tank who?
Knock knock!

And it was super funny.
The joke really goes:
Knock knock
Who's there?
Tank
Tank who?
You're welcome!

It was pretty cute.
And then Mark & Brian were like, is there a different answer for 'fish'?
The mom was like, no the answer is still 'you're welcome'.
I was laughing way too hard.
Probably because it was 7am, haha.

Knock knock
Who's there?
Fish
Fish who?
You're welcome!

Hahahhaahhahhahahhahhahaaa

Well, I guess that's all for now.
I hope you have a good weekend.
See you next week. (:

Happy Birthday and 3-year Anniversary, Tyler!

Happy Birthday!
I know this picture is a greaaat present. (;

You're 19! Now you can do all the things you could do when you were 18!
Yeaaahhhhh!

Oh, and guess what else!
We've been together for 3 years.
That's 36 months, 156 weeks, 1,095 days, and 26,280 hours!
That doesn't sound that long... But it is!
Hahaha.

I remember when you asked me out at approximately 3 or 4am on your birthday and it was super cute and I totally didn't go to school that day, haha.

And our first date the next day and we saw The Number 23 and it was pretty awesome.
And I never tripped over a box. Ever.

And I went to your house, like, a month later.
I don't know why my parents let me, you could have been a killer or something, haha.
And oh man we were so freaking punk.
Hahhaa.

And now here are some pictures (that are way out of order) to commemorate our love.<3
My Grey's Anatomy shirt has ceased to exist. ):

And we have plenty more memories that aren't photographed.
And we're going to make plenty more.

I love you, Tyler David Reynolds and I always will.
Happy 19th birthday and 3 year anniversary.
<333
