Freaky Friday~~

I'm in Fresno again but I'm going to do five! Yay!

1. White/grey duvet covers and bedding and curtains.
I have a black comforter and all it does is show stains and lint and hair and it's starting to get annoying.
And I realized my room is black and pink like some sort of Hot Topic display.
So no thanks. I want some white linens~

2. Bejeweled.
OH GOD I COULD PLAYED BEJEWELED 24/7
IT MAKES ME LATE FOR SCHOOL, I FORGET TO EAT, I WISH I WAS PLAYING RIGHT NOWWW

3. Hershey's Cookies and Cream.
I've been craving these allll weeeeek.
Jessica got me a King Size one and I gobbled that down.
Sooo yummmmmy. I want one nooowww.

4. Tumblr.
I have been thinking about getting one for awhile.
So I did. Haha.
It's just a blog where you can post pictures and songs and videos and stuff.
My Blogger is for talking about me but Tumblr is just for pictures and songs I find during the week.
I've already posted on it a ton.
So check it ouuut.
http://zebraskiin.tumblr.com/

5. Sainthood by Tegan and Sara
Soooooooooo goooooooooooood.
It came out on October 27th and ever since it's been on my computer, I haven't stopped listening to it.
I listened to it, like, five times on the drive up here.
It's really goooood omgmggmmg.
You have no ideaaaa.

When I first heard it I knew it was different.
It's louder, a bit rock-ier. Maybe pop-ier.
Basically something you'd hear on the radio.
But I don't mind.
It's still good. And they are still my favoouuurite.

I like every song on it. Seriously.
So, So Jealous had "Speak Slow" and The Con had "Hop a Plane" and Sainthood has "Northshore".
And oh, it's good.
That little pop song always rules.

Their single is "Hell" and there is already a music video for it!
Check it out!

Yeah, I don't know what's going on either.

So yeah, pretty exciting week. Haha.
Well, Tyler's at school right now but when he gets home we're going to go shopping for Halloween costumes!
Trust me, we're going to be cute.

I'm also going to be trick or treating for the first time since Freshman year.
Don't ask, bad experience.
But hopefully this year will be good.
I have some high hopes.

Have a good weekend and Happy Halloween. (:

And here's what I wish I was going to be for Halloween.

Freaky Friday~~

I think I'm only going to do three obsessions this week...
We'll see how it goes.

1. Room Noises by Eisley
Ever since the show last week I have been listening to this album over and over again.
It's sooooo gooood omggggzzzz.
Here's my favourite song, so far.

2. 'Greek' hairstyles.
This week in my History of Fashion class we watched Becoming Jane with Anne Hathaway.
And pretty much the whole time her hair is like this.
It's a bit of a messy up-do with a double headband.
During the time period of the movie, the late 1700s, the in-style was empire-waisted dresses, very light colours, and hairstyles remnescient of the Romans and Greeks.
But mostly the Greeks since the Romans just stole everything from the Greeks.

Anyways, I love this hairstyle so much but I can never do it. ):
My hair is short and thin.
And not curly in any way.
I'd love to have wavy hair.
I may get a perm once my hair is a bit longer...

3. Planning ahead and being organized!
This week I have been making schedules for every day and then actually following them!
I never do that! Haha.
I have been really organized all week and have been planning ahead for Christmas presents and things I need and yeaaahhh.
It's been nice. I just wish I could have such a successful week every week.

Yeah, I am going to stick with just 3 for this week.
Sorry!

So today I got a lot done.
I mailed back my Threadless shirts to get them bigger, went to Wal*Mart and got shampoo and other necessities.
And this week I did laundry, washed my bedding, cleaned off my desk, cleaned my closet a little bit, and shaved my legs!
They were getting gross, trust me. Haha.

For the rest of today I'm going to and try and finish some wallets that I started and never finished.
I want to keep up this feeling of accomplishment!

And no video this week, but here's a hilarious photo.

Have a good weekend. (:

I hate math homework

I'd rather blog about my weekend with Tyler.

So I read my last post and it took, like, ten minutes, so no one has read it, huh?
I wouldn't think so.
Unless you're really interested in Say Anything or my life.
Whatevs, I don't mind. I can read it later when I want to reminisce.

So I left off on Friday when Tyler had school.

He came home and we hung out.
We didn't do muuch.
I think we just ate some food and watched the new Degrassi where Alli sends Johnny nudez and then SNAKE SEES IT. HAHAHHA.
We also watched the British version of The Office because it's way better than the American rip-off. (;

Saturday we laid around and then got ready for some Round Table buffet.
We got there right when it ended so there wasn't much of a choice but we did eat some tastyyy salads.
Pretty tasty~

After that we went over to Zachary's.
It was hot.
And we didn't do much.
But I made a list of the things I like and dislike about his house so here you go. (:

Likes
  • trading Roxie's collar with Mailei's and them tripping out
  • he has good music on his iTunes
  • giant pumpkin that isn't even orange
  • when Josh isn't here
  • writing ':3' and '8===D' on his white board
  • bongos
  • breaking the speakers and then Zack fixing them means he just breaks them more
  • watching the "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift music video
  • Charizard surfboard

Dislikes
  • Josh
  • it's hot
  • Josh
  • Manswers
  • Josh

Josh is his brother and he SUCKS.
Hahaha.

And here is my favourite picture of Sack. (:
He is MUCH buffer now.

Then we decided to see PARANORMAL ACTIVITY~~~

Tyler and I were super scared and Sack was just like, "TOTALLY WASN'T SCARY DUDE WHATEVER NOT SCARY I MEAN IT HAD GOOD PARTS BUT NOT SCARY WHATEVER."
And it was suuuper annoying... cough cough.

Anyways, I looooved it.
It was good. I liked the acting a lot and it had a good plot.
And it wasn't like a regular movie, there wasn't a soundtrack or constant gore or anything.
It was like it actually happened.

After that we took Zack home and went to Tyler's.
We watched SNL and then looked at naked pictures of Tyler as a baby with his Mom. Hahha.
And then we went to bed...
~~~
We slept for a few hours and at three am I woke up.
I don't know why.
I was so scared though.
I went and woke up Tyler and he was kind of mad at first but then he got over it and tried to calm me down.
We ended up going downstairs and eating and didn't go back to bed until five am.
I'm a big ol' baby. ):
The next day we ate lunch with his family and then I had to go home. ):
Here's a pictures of us on the way to the train station.
I always say to myself, "Tyler and I have no pictures with each other. This time I'll take a lot of pictures!"
And then I don't remember until the ride to the train station... Hahah.
And here's a shot of Tyler running after the train.
But then he got tired.
Hahaha.
And then I came home.
It suuuucks.
I've just been doing school and sewing Laurren's Halloween costume.
Jessica's birthday was Tuesday~
She's 16 nowww.
I made her an owl blanket. (:
It only took an hour which was pretty tight.
It's a tie blanket but not the knot ones. I learned how from Mrs. Bauer so I don't know what it's called exactly.
And here's a close-up.
So yeah, that's what has been going oooon.
I hope you have a good rest of the week. (:
Freaky Friday and Tyler~~~
I only have a few obesessions this week but I also have muuuch to tell you. (:
So let'started!
1. Throwing up
This week in every situation I just keep saying, "What if he starts throwing up and she's like 'I hate throw up!' and she starts throwing up..."
And I think it's pretty hilarious. Hahhaa.
I think Tyler might be done with it by now, haha.
2. Say Anything!
I have loved Say Anything since, probably, freshman year? Yeah, that sounds about right...
Anyways, Tyler and I saw them this week and it was probably the best show I've ever been too.
Yeah, even better than Tegan and Sara at the Henry Fonda Music Box, and that show ruuuuled.
I'll talk more about the show itself later but anyways, Say Anything is really goood.
They are a punk/indie? band and only have a couple of studio albums but they have a lot of hard to find demos that are awesome.
There's not much I want to say about them except that I knew about them before Tyler! I'm the one who told him about him so he needs to shut up! Hahaha.
3. Short Hair
In case you don't know for some reason, I shaved my head last year.
I've been growing my hair out ever since but it's become very bothersome.
It doesn't rinse conditioner out very well, it's heavy on my neck, I don't know how to style it, etc...
So I just love short hair.
But I think I'm just going to stick to growing my hair out since I've been trying for sooo looong.
Well, that's all for my obsessions but I've had a pretty eventful week...
~~~

Monday I had school. And yeah. Haha.

Tuesday I had school. But my drawing teacher let us out 30 minutes early! It totally ruled. Oh, and I got a 9/10 on both of my drawings. (:
I came home and was booored.
Then Jessica walked in and I was like, "Uh. How did you get home?"
And some LUMMOX popped out! Hahaa.
Yeah, it was Tyler.
He was going to come Wednesday but instead he came a day early! Haha.
But I had a job interview so the three of us went to the mall.
I went to Sears while they walked around.
This was my second interview and it wasn't that bad.
I'm pretty positive I have the job. (:
Anyways when I was done I found Tyler and Jessica in the arcade.
It sucked so we went to the food court.
Tyler and I had some Sbarro pizzaaaa and Jessica had a Brownie Earthquake.
We were just sitting there talking mad trash on everyone when Jessica was like, "Is that Luna Lovegood?"
And it was!
Luna is actually my friend Casey but she totally looks like Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter so that's pretty much just her name now. Hahaha.
So I yelled "LUNAAA LOVEGOOOD!" And then her and her friend Kyle came over.
We sat and talked and watched the TV at Jollibee for about 45 minutes.
It was mostly hilarious.
So yeah, I was getting tired and we decided to go home.
And then Tyler and I just huggled and laughed all night.
I'd also like to say that we made history:
This was pretty much the first time ever we laughed all of the first day instead of fighting.
I don't know why but the first day we're together is never badass or anything. Haha.

Wednesdayyyyy.
I had school.
I went to History of Fashion and we had a sub and just watched Becoming Jane with Anne Hathaway.
I was like, dang, I left huggles for thiiis?
And then my math class was cancelled so I came home and Tyler and I got Jack in the Box.
We came back to my house and Vance came over.

We ended up going to see Zombieland. It was pretty good.
I liked it, not loved it.
But at least I didn't hate it like Vance...
Also, since it was, like two in the afternoon there was only two other people in there besides us.
After the movie I got a call to set up my third Sears interview and I told her that I couldn't have it at 11am because I have school and she said she would call me back but never did. ):
So the three of us went back to my house and they played HORSE with Jessica and I did my homework.

And then it was time to leave for Say Anything!
~~~
Awhile ago Greg was telling us that a four-pack of tickets for the show was extremely cheaper than individually buying them so it was going to be him, Danny, Tyler, and me.
But nope. Greg is a pathological liar.
And never bought the tickets.
He claims he's not lying but he has about zero proof of it.
We went to Will Call and had them check under Tyler's name, Greg's name, and Greg's parents names. Nope.
Hm. Bit fishy, isn't it?
We asked Greg to go into his email and give us the confirmation number but, lo and behold! he doesn't have the email.
And it's already pretty sketchy when he flaked out on the show when Say Anything is his favorite band evarrr omggzz lolololol.
So yup. That was his last chance.
We have now changed our minds of liking Greg and hating his friends to liking Turnquist and hating his friends.
Turnquist was nice enough to let us have one of the tickets from his four-pack so we just had to buy one ticket.
There was a lot of unneeded annoying stress in that forty-five minutes before the show.
After the ticket snafu Turnquist let us cut with him and we just talked trash for twenty minutes.
We were inside waiting to go into the main room when some kid was like, "MAX BEMIS IS RIGHT THEEEREE~~~"
And he waaaas.
He was behind the merch table with his wife Sherri DuPree, the lead singer of Eisley.
They left to walk backstage and Tyler and I were (---) this close to them.
And I made eye contact with Max!
I wish I had said something but what would I have said?
"OMGZ IM UR NUMBER 1 FAN I LOVE YOU ILYZ OMG PLZ MARRY ME UR SO HAWT OMGGG"
So yeah, better I kept my mouth shut. Haha.
They started letting people in and we stuck with Turnquist and Paden and their friends and Tegan and Sara. Haha.
Then Tyler got a text from Dylan saying that he and Heaven were there.
I wasn't friends with Dylan but we have made amends now.
I made amends with Dillon and Dylan in one night. Hahah.
So Heaven had Swedish Fish and it ruled.
There were a ton of opening bands (Picture Atlantic, Moving Mountains, Moneen, and Eisley) so the plan was to move closer with each band.
The bands were okay, it's just they weren't anything like Say Anything.
So yeah.
And during Moneen a ton of people knew them and were moshing and it sucked.
But we were able to get very close.
For Eisley we ended up being only about five people back.
And they were so gooood.
I'm not the biggest Eisley fan but I have a couple CDs and I like them and they were sooo goood live.
And Max Bemis came and played guitar for Sherri while she sang the song and it ruled.
I loved it so much.
After their set they closed the curtains to set up for Say Anything!
In the 45 minutes we were waiting we were able to move up a bit and were about three people away from the front.
And at one point someone stuck their hand out and threw a drumstick into the audience.
Hahah, pretty funny, but it landed no where near us.
Oh, and let me start off my saying, I'm not racist and I don't mean to be racist right now.
There was seriously one black guy in the whole venue and he was ruining everything.
He kept trying to start moshes and he kept messing with Turnquist.
And while waiting for Say Anything he was messing with Tyler so he shoved him down and the black guys friends were like "DON'T BE A DOUCHE MAN, QUIT BEIN A DOUCHE."
Like, yeah, okay, we're the ones yelling that "EVERYONE IS NOW BLACK."
Wtf does that even mean?
After Tyler showed him what's up he calmed down a bit so that was good.
Around... 10:45pm we hear some music.
I thought it was like some 8-bit music, like something you'd hear while playing Mario Bros.
And then the curtains opened to reveal several cardboard boxes cut to look like buildings with Christmas lights inside of them!
It was super cool.
And then the band came out.
They were all wearing the same thing and had cut their hair!
Haha, and then they startedddd.
I found the set list on the forum so here's that first.
Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too
Alive With the Glory of Love
It's a Metaphor, Fool
Shiksa (Girlfriend)
Hate Everyone
Yellow Cat/Red Cat
Have At Thee!
This Is Fucking Ecstasy
Eloise
Woe
Baby Girl
Mara and Me
Slowly Through a Vector
The Futile
-Encore-
Crush'd
Spores
Admit It!!
For the first two songs Max didn't even have to sing, the audience did it for him. Hahaha.
And when Alive with the Glory of Love started this girl next to me SCREAMED "I HATE THIS SONG". I was like, wtf is your problem?
Probably because it's their most popular song, I'd say.
It's been on the radio and stuff.
So that ruled.
And every song from In Defense of the Genre he gave a weird name to.
Shiksa was "Non-Jewish Girl"
And I can't remember the other ones but it was weird.
I was really happy with all the ...Is a Real Boy songs they played.
And I liked the new songs.
But the whole time I thought I was going to die.
It was very hot.
Everyone kept shoving closer to the stage and left and right.
I was very terrifed of falling and getting trampled.
But thankfully Tyler was there to hold me up. (:
I felt bad for Heaven because she kept getting crushed but Tyler and Dylan held people off of her and it was very nice.
So no longer is it that I hate Dylan and like Heaven while Tyler hates Heaven and likes Dylan. Haha.
So yeah, I loved every moment, pretty much.
Besides the being crushed and being so sweaty it was like I jumped into a pool.
After "The Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile"
They said thanks and left.
But then a roadie came up and set up another microphone.
Like, oh, I wonder if there will be an encore?
Haha.
Max Bemis came out and sang Crush'd by himself and it was beautfiulll.
And the last song was Admit It! which ruled sooo hard.
I was thankful when it was over but only because I was dying so hard.
Heaven bought a shirt and then the four of us went outside and sat down.
Dylan found a water fountain so we went and chowed down.
Hahaha.
Dylan and Heaven walked with us to the parking lot and they got picked up by her mom.
Tyler and I drove home and it ruled.
Then we huggled and talked and we went to bed.
It was overall an awesome night.
All of the goods/greats outweighed the bad/BS.
Thursday.
I had school and then I came home so I could do laundry and pack.
Tyler and I didn't end up leaving until, like 4pm.
But there was pretty much no traffic except for when the 210 met up with the 5.
It was a nice drive. (:
We got to Tyler's at 8pm.
We watched Bones and ate fish tacos.
Stephanie came over and we watched Grey's Anatomyyyy.
After we watched SiCKO and it was super sad.
And Stephanie left and that was that night.
Friday.
Today Tyler went to school and I've been working on this all day.
So yeahhh. (:
And of course, I'll close with a little video.
Freaky Friday~~ 3
This is going to be a loooong blog post so prepare yourself.
These are my obsessionssss~~~
1. Bed Canopies
 I just love the feeling of a cave, of being enclosed.
And I want one so bad. I'd make one but my big window is right next to my bed so what's the point of that? Haha.
2. Edgar Degas
I've always liked Edgar Degas because I loooove ballerinas. But yesterday I went to the Norton Simon museum with my drawing class and I got to see, like, 100 of his sculptures and a lot of his non-ballerina paintings. Haha.
Side Story: So yesterday I went to the Norton Simon museum in Pasadena. A girl from my class, Hillary, carpooled with me. We left super early and got there in, like, 20 minutes. We thought it'd take an hour so we had some time... It was on Colorado Blvd so we walked over to Urban Outfitters. We walked around there a bit and made fun of the ugly clothes on sale and then we walked back to the museum.
We waited outside with some classmates for awhile because, surprise! Fatemah, the professor, was late. Haha, she's always late. Even for class.
Then Hillary and I walked around and looked at the paintings.
There was a lot of Edgar Degas, some Picasso, and a Monet. I looooove Monet. Probably one of my favourite painters. (:
Anyways, Hillary wasn't very interested and texted the whole time but whatevs, I got to see the paintings, just not read the information on them. :/
So yeah, we were done at around 1:30pm so we decided to leave.
When I pulled out of the parking spot, something felt wrong...
I had a flat tire on the front right. ):
I felt bad because Hillary had another class to get to so I told her to see if she could get a ride from someone else.
I went and parked and got down to business.
I jacked up the car and started to unscrew the lug nuts. But every time I tried to turn them, the tire would spin. So annoying.
And then one of my classmates Michelle came over and offered to help. (:
She held the tire in place while I turned the nuts.
Hillary couldn't find a ride but it was okay because it only took under a half an hour to do.
I'm pretty proud of myself.
So after that I took Hillary back to school, picked up Jessica and came home.
Yesterday was ridiculouuuuuus.
3. Black bunnies
Bunnies always have, and always will be my favourite animal.
But black ones... They are so sleek and perfect.
I love themmmm.
4. Entirely black outfits
I don't know why, I just love it. It's so sleek. Like black bunnies. Haha.
I especially love the black pantyhose with black open-toe high heels like Emily Deschanel is wearing in the first picture.
So sexxxxxy.
5. And... I don't want to admit it but... Farmville.
I always said that Farmville was lame.
Then one day Tyler made me harvest his crops.
And then I kept checking his farm and I just got obsessed with it.
So I just made my own.
I've gotten to level 11 in, like, three days, though. So yeah.
Pretty cool. Haha.
In other news, my Threadless shirt came today!
Soooo exciiiiited. (:
And Tyler's shirt came too but I can't post that because it's one of his Christmas presents. (;
I've been working on wallets and I'm running out of fabric!
It's so weird not having my fabric drawer totally filled.
I'm hoping to open an etsy shop by next weekend.
Things I have to do today:
1. Clean off desk
2. Finish half-completed wallets
3. Make 'zebraskiin' labels
4. Laundry
5. Buy fabric
6. Buy yarn
7. Work on Christmas presents
8. Figure out what to get Jessica for her birthday
9. Take pictures
10. Plan diet and exercise routine...
Yup. Starting tomorrow I'm going on a diet.
I'm lazy and eat sweets, like, every day.
It's gotta end.
I'm just getting bigger and bigger.
So yeah, that's what I have to do today.
Quite a bit so I should probably get started on it...
I hope this blog made up for only posting two blogs in two weeks.
And I'll leave you with this wonderfully hilarious video.
Freaky Friday~~ 2
Say whaaat?
It's been a whole week since I posted a blog?
Well, I'll do twice as much in one blog!
So first off, my obsessions.
1. I'm still in love with Neutral Milk Hotel but now I'm obsessed with the Pandora radio station.
It is so good. If you don't know what Pandora is, it's an online radio where you can put in a song or an artist
and they will play songs that are similar. It's really good. (:
2. The Greatest American Hero by Joey Scarbury
Enough said.
3. Foxes.
Foxes are sooo pretty.
And they look like they're wearing tall boots. Hahaha.
4. This picture of Thom Yorke.
I read this tumblr called http://fuckyeahthomyorke.tumblr.com/ and it's just pictures and videos of Thom Yorke, who btw is the lead singer of Radiohead, and when I saw this picture.
Oh god. I couldn't stop laughing.
I still can't. It's my computer background, it's on my Myspace, I posted it on Facebook, I tweeted it.
Just. Funniest picture of all time.
"Get on my back spider monkey."
5. And K-POP. Which is Korean pop music.
I have loved the Wonder Girls for, forever. And now I've found Girls' Generation.
Both are awesomeeee.
Btw I'm slowly, but surely, learning this dance.
So those are my obsessions of the week.
A lot of music stuff... Hm...
So anyways, as I am always saying, I am trying to open an Etsy shop.
Today I worked on a wallet design and I like how it turned out.
...Except they are way too small to fit cards or fold.
Oh well, at least now I know.
And since I'm just in love with my desk here's some shots from when I was working today.
And I cleaned out/organized my sewing box.
And can you guess what I'm making Tyler?
Haha.
And to close, one more video. (:
