Walkin' in LA

I don't know why Blogger has to ruin my pictures when they get resized. :/

Today I was woken up at 8:30am by a call from Jeremy asking what freeway to get to my house.

Let me back track a little. Last night Tyler tells me he's going to be in LA for a Magic the Gathering competition. And we weren't going to see each other. I was like, great, asshole.
And I went to sleep at 1am pissed off.

Then I was woken up balls early by that call and I was like say whaaat? Am I still mad? I don't know... So I took a shower and got read and stuffff.
And then I read a new chapter of Yotsuba and I was soooo excited.

I was just laying on my bed when I hear some fgt, and I was like waaazaaap? And then we left. Haha. First we went to Chinatown. Jeremy, Drew, and Manny did not like that because it was hot and there was walking... Yeah...
So we didn't even end up going to Little Tokyo. :/ But whatevs.

We went to Hollywood and walked around there. Most people not from California don't know this so let me enlighten you. All Hollywood Blvd businesses consist of smoke shops, lingerie/adult book stores, and tattoo parlors. And of course the theatres.
You aren't missing much.
Any ways, we found a few interesting stores and stuff.
Tyler bought me this backpack for my birfday. :3

It's little Cinnmoroll with some doughnuts. Even though I hate doughnuts. Haha.

We went to Chinese Grauman's Theatre, whatever, and measured our feet with movie stars and stuff.
Oh, and I got to meet my idol Hello Kitty! Hahaha.
We have come to find out that Tyler is in fact, Harrison Ford.
They have the same size feet and hands, both wear Converse, and both like Harrison Ford.

After that we decided to get some food.
And holy balls are Tyler's friends are indecisive. It was finally decided upon to go to Hooter's. And once we were standing outside of it, no one wanted to go in first.
I was like, holy balls I'm tired of this.

So yeah, we ate at Hooter's. Bitches is hawt.
And my fish sandwich was pretty decent from what I've heard about Hooter's food (it's crap).

After that we made the trek back to Tyler's car and drove home.

When we got to my house, I was like bye. And Tyler was like no, I have 15 minutes.
And I was like, say whaaaaaat?
Hahaha, I hate myself and my "and like, and like, and like yeah".
So we ended up huggling for twenty minutes and it was sooo tight.
I guess it was nice to see him for nine hours or whatever it was.

Oh, and btw, we got matching bracelets. :3
The red beads mean love. (:

First Day of College. Part 2!

Today was my second day of college.

I woke up balls early, as usual. And I got to school around 8am. I went to the SacBookRac, god that name is so lame, and I exchanged my math book and I got back $88! I was pretty excited.

And then I wandered around a bit. I found a bench and sat down and read five more chapters of Pygmy. Some guy sat down and ate his food and it was weird. And then he left and two girls came and it was kind of weird. But whatevs.

I walked over to my English class and found out it only takes one minute to walk up three flights of stairs. Hahah.
I was pretty excited because I had this class with Veronica Campagna!
We sat next to each other and it was like math all over again. Haha. My English professor is like Mr. Harte. That's all you need to know.
And then I wrote the cheesiest thing ever. About my life in 25 years.

After that was my drawing class that's on the opposite side of campus.
I ran down the stairs and sped walked like mad. I'm pretty sure I got shin splints.
Haha.
But I wasn't late, so it was okay.
My professor is German-Persian and I think that's way badass.
We were only in class for an hour and then she let us go.
And I think I made my first friend! Haha.

I walked the ten miles to my car and went to the artist store to try and get all my art supplies but they didn't take American Express. :/
Also, that parking lot is fucking hell. There's a total of ten parking spots and over twenty five stores. Holy balls.

Pretty good second day, I'd say.
College is pretty cool. (:

First Day of College.

Oh my gosh! First day of college today!

So, I woke up balls early. As in 6am. I took a shower and ate some breakfast and then I left for school.
I go straight down Grand to get there. As soon as I got past Holt Ave. and the hill started it was bumper to bumper. It took me half an hour to get over that hill. And once I got in the parking lot the first THREE lots I tried were full.
I got to Lot F and I found out that it's a good lot with easy access to my English class.

I walked to my first class but it didn't start for another hour and forty-five minutes. Haha!
(I have a lot of anxiety and have to leave insanely early for things or I freak the fuck out.)
So I sat on a ledge and read Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk. I got through, like, five chapters.

I think it's so weird that bells just don't exist in college. You just go to class of your own accord and it ends when the professor says so.
I also think it's super fucking weird to see people just smoking on campus.

Anyways, I went to my first class which was History of Costume and Fashion.
The professor seems nice. And it was funny because she said the difference between fashion students and business/everyone else is that we have better shoes but she was wearing red rubber clogs. Hahaha.
I was in that class for, like, forty minutes. She went over the syllabus took roll and dismissed us. So that meant I had TWO hours until my next class.

I had to pee like you wouldn't believe when I realized I didn't know where any bathrooms were. I figured I'd run into one eventually, and I did. Haha.
After wards I went to a vending machine and bought some pretzels and a water.
I walked back to my car and swapped textbooks.

I found out where my drawing class was and then I was going to time how far it was to my English class because I am a moron and scheduled them five minutes a part.
But it's okay because today my English professor finally returned my email and said it would be fine if I left early.
I also found out I have it with Veronica Campagna!
Anyyyyyyy wayyyyyyyys...

I was power walking when I heard "Jacquiii?" And it was Brittney Molina!
We caught up and walked around campus and then went to the cafe. We both came to find out that there is a Carl's Jr., a buffet, and a Starbucks.
Pretty ridiculous.
So then we bought some sodas and sat down in the shade.
Eventually she had to go to her next class when I still had like 30-40 minutes.
So I just read more Pygmy.

It was kind of weird getting into the math building but whatever.
I really hate take such remedial math for the, like, fourth time.
I know exponents and order of operations, I'm not ten years old.
But I was also upset because he didn't let us out early and we actually had to learn. Haha.
I also found out that sign language is tiring work because there was two deaf guys in my class and there were two interpreters who kept switching. I guess it's really hard.

After math I just walked to my car and I thought I saw Farah but I didn't want to call out in case it wasn't her. Haha.

Then I drove home and I was way exhausted.
So I took a nap.
And after wards I had some Honey Nut Cheerios.
And here's my day!
I hope you enjoyed it. (:

Update on my Room

Welcome to my room.
At first glance you can see it is a MESS.
(btw you can click on the pictures for the giant version)

My dad and I did the hardwood floor. Overall it took one full day of work. Like, 12-14 hours.
Before I had nasty brown carpeting. I think it's what came with the house back in the 60s or whatever.

Right to the left of my door is my closet. It's much better than it was but it can still be tidied up.
I need new clothes. ):

Directly from the door is my bed. While I was away at Tyler's for the weekend my dad built it.
It's nice but has some sharp-corners.
It is suuuper comfy. (:

Now the main attraction: my desk.
It took me and my dad, like, four-five days. But it was worth it.
I have filled up the shelves and I still have more stuff.
My dad has an idea to add two more shelves, one on each side.
But we're still waiting.

A semi-close up of my books.
And this is after I got rid of a ton of books I didn't like.

I have a love/hate relationship with this section. These are all the books I haven't read yet. I'm excited to read them but it's also quite daunting. Haha.

This is the far side of my room.
It's just my dressers, my record player, the TV, and some shelves for baskets and trinkets.
Yeah, I'm watching Wendy Williams. Hahaha.

Well, that's what we've been working on for the past month and a half, or so.
I'm glad to be almost done but it's a lot of work.

I'm thankful to have some working spaces for when I start college, though. I didn't really have one for all of high school.

So yeah, thought I'd procrastinate a bit with this.
Hope you enjoyed it. (;

Happy (early) Birthday~!

On Friday I had my 18th birthday. I haven't been able to upload anything yet because my car died in Clovis and it took awhile to get everything back in order.

So, the guest list included Tyler, Emily, Michelle, Vance, Max, Veronica, Jessica, Chris, Jason, Roseanna, Luna Lovegood, and Greg stopped by for a bit.

Well, I started off very angry because while I was in the shower Vance came and kidnapped Tyler and Michelle for a good hour. Well, I'm sure they were willing to go with him but whatever.

And then Jessica, Veronica, Emily, and Max came kinda early and helped me set up.

There was a ton of food and lots of fun. Haha. We played HORSE, Brawl, and Degrassi Goes Hollywood!

Okay, what I care about: the presents~! Haha.

First off, Tyler got me a Steam account and a bunch of sweet indie games. They are a lot of fun.

Michelle got me some books I've been dying for.

I can't wait to start reading Pygmy! And A to Z Knitting is a very helpful book.

Luna Lovegood got me $40 and a couple of these.
(Which have definitely already been eaten).

Vance got me five eight-piece packages of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and two Hershey's Cookies and Cream, and a package of fun size Milky Ways. Oh and these.

I am also excited to read these.

Roseanna gave me a ton of fabric and buttons. It was probs one of the best gifts. No offense any one. Haha.

My favourite fabric is definitely that middle one. I love space shiiiiiiiiiips. (:

Oh and from Emily and Veronica was this beautiful necklace. I love it.
I love scissors and I have been wanting this necklace for forever.

And then my sister made me a four tier strawberry cake. Sooo goood.
Overall it was an awesome birthday and I realized how much I love my friends.
I am excited to be 18 and start my life.

This has been an awesome summer.

Clovis is party time

Moushi moushi~!
Michelle and I got to Clovis yesterday. We had a long tiring drive. And we also saw a car cut across all five lanes of the highway. Also, I'm an excellent driver. Hahaha.
When we got here we didn't do much. Hung out, took a nap, ate food.

Today we got up and got sushi! Tyler's dad went with us too and it was soo goood. My favourite thing was this Orange Blossom it's snow crab, avocado, wrapped in salmon. Soooo goood. And so pretty, as you can see. (:
And then our sushi guy made us plum sake oranges. Yeah, I know. He cut up the oranges and soaked them with some plum sake and it was sooo tasty.

When we went back to Tyler's house Catherine was there! She's a little girl that Tyler's mom Cherie babysits.

She's six months old and loves kicking and drooling. She also had on a lovely cupcake outfit. Sorry for the bad picture I didn't want to use the flash and blind her.

This was Catherine after she kicked Tyler in the face. It was pretty hilarious.

Later we went and saw Night at the Museum 2! Hahhaa. And then we went to Red Robin and our waiter was on cocaine. But then we got another waitress who wasn't. :/

Afterward, walked around the mall and then we went to Micah's house. We went to the Dollar Store and then a park and it got boring.
So now we're at Tyler's watching the Food Network. (:

I looove summer.

Hmmmmpffff

Well, I haven't posted in awhile so here is a little post until I have something good to talk about.

Today I made myself a big ole breakfast/lunch/dinner.

It's onigiri with a tuna filling with oranges for dessert and a nice glass of cranberry juice. (:
It's pretty plain but when I start college I plan on making some super kawaii bento boxes.

Next week I am going to go to Tyler's house (hopefully) with Michelle and then next Friday I am going to celebrate my 18th birthday~!
I am semi-excited. My real birthday is September 4th but I have to have it so early so Tyler and Max can go because they gotta go to college.

My room is still in chaos and I'm just trying to get things where they should be. But my dad is supposed to drill some holes for wires to go through so my desk can be flush on the wall and I can plug in my laptop and sewing machine but he hasn't done that yet so I am not very motivated to fill up the shelves.

When my desk is finished, I'm going to work on some designs for things to sell and convince my dad to help me get an Etsy shop.

Well, I guess I'll go work on my room.
Have a good day.
It's almost the weekend! (:
