Freaky Friday (An Apology)

I'm sorry I've been gone so long!
I feel bad about it, really I do.
I didn't do a blog last week because I had nothing to talk about.
I can't believe I am saying this, but I think I've run out of things to talk about!

And I never announced the winner of the workout competition!
So I guuuuessss I'll do that right now~
~*~*EMILY PARKS*~*~

She lost a whopping 15 pounds and 10% of her body weight!

Second place was ~*me*~ having lost 7 pounds and 4.6% of my body weight.
Third place was Francesca, who was very close behind me, who lost 6 pounds and 4.5% of her body weight!
And I am proud of Veronica, Jessica, and Max joining this and trying their best to lose weight!
I am so proud of everyone, really. (:

So Emily, we must talk about your prize~
Text me soon!

So as you may have heard I've been super duper busy having a job.
It's pretty cool.
I just sit all day making the minimum wage.
And at the moment I have $650 in the bank!
Such an awesome feeling.
I'm going to try and stretch this money for all of summer so that I don't have to ask my parents for any money for at least 2 months.
But it's hard though because I can totally buy a new lens with that money or a whole new camera.
Or just other various expensive things, haha.

So next week I'm gonna super clean my room and hopefully have a yard sale some time this summer.

Oh and also the idea of starting an Etsy shop is worming it's way back into my mind.
But I haven't sewn in a really long time so yeah...

But I am starting a baby quilt soon!
So hopefully that will motivate me to start being creative and sewing and making stuff again.
Not that I haven't been making anything.
I'm currently knitting 5 separate things.
Yeah, it's a bit much.
One needs to be done before next weekend, one by the end of July, and one by the beginning of August.
The other 2 are just whenever. But I should probably finish Roseanna's hat soon, heh.

Oh and look at these cute knitted toys!
Pigs in wigs!

Bed bugs~

And a television!

Which are all from Mochimochi Land's new book!
Which is now available on Amazon.com and I'm probably going to end up ordering it as soon as I'm done with this blog.
(Along with a camera remote (finally).)

But gosh, all of these patterns are adorable.
I can't wait to make them. (:

In case you haven't heard, I got a Pro account on Flickr!
Because of this I have gotten a lot more views and a lot more comments and it feels soooo gooood. (:
And I've also made a bunch of new sets and have been uploading a lot more than usual.
You should probably check it out sometime...

In other news I've watched a couple of movies~
I really liked this a lot. I don't care that it had super low quality green screens or that everyone has known the twist ending since before it even premiered.
I liked it. A lot. The acting was good and looking at cute actors and the trippy flashbacks/going crazy parts.
It was awesome.

I hadn't even heard about this until Max asked me to go see it with him.
If you haven't heard of it you should look up the trailer on YouTube.
It was seriously funny and awkward and I loved it.
John C. Reilly starts dating Marisa Tomei only to find out her 22 year old son, who is Jonah Hill, still lives at home.
And Jonah Hill is slightly obsessive about his mom. And they do some weird stuff moms and sons should never do ever. Haha.
But I liked it a lot and I laughed quite a bit.
I definitely recommend it.

This movie was amazing.
Absolutely amazing.
It's about this man, Colin Firth, and his whole day where he is planning to commit suicide at the end.
You find out he's gay and his partner died 8 months ago and he hasn't been happy since.
The film is directed by Tom Ford who is a costume designer so all of the design elements are super beautiful.
It's a sad and beautiful movie and I loved it.

I also love the soundtrack which I have already listened to about 10 times and I only downloaded it two days ago.

Max and I watched this yesterday and it was hilarious.
I love the Coen Brothers already so I went into this movie knowing I was gonna like it, haha.
And I did.
It's about a guy who wants his wife kidnapped so he can get some ransom money from his father-in-law so he can get out of his debts.
And then everything goes horribly wrong.
This movie is hilarious and full of Minnesotan accents and dummies.

Last week I read all 5 volumes of Scott Pilgrim.

The sixth and final volume won't be released until July 20th and I'm dyyyyyyying!
Especially because Volume 5 did not end on a happy note.

The whole series is about this guy named Scott Pilgrim who falls for this girl named Ramona Flowers and comes to find out that to date her he has to defeat her 7 Evil Ex-Boyfriends.
And the novels are about him fighting the Evil Exes, his relationship with Ramona, his band, and just Scott's life.
I loved them.
I definitely recommend these to anyone who likes graphic novels.

Alright, last thing~
I'm getting a hair cut today!
So this is your last chance to take in and appreciate my long hair.
And prepare for another very short boy hairstyle~

Well that's all for now.
Have a good weekend and keep having an awesome summer.
And I'm definitely going to try and blog more!
I promise!
Bye~~~
