Long time no see

Sorry I've been such a lagger.
But right now I'm working on a super long blog to make up for it!

It's taking me a long time to do, though.

So I'm just gonna give you a short little blog about things I wanna do in the next month~

* Find a job! 

* Completely organize all three of my dressers

* Completely organize my desk

* Empty out all three tubs in my room

* Wash bedding

* Sew myself a little crafty apron~

So I can put my scissors and other notions in an easy to reach place at all times~

* Finish some of the knitting projects I have started this year

* Finish the roll of film in my Fisheye camera and get it developed

* Sew the costume for my birthday party~

* Dye wig for my birthday party

And I think that's all I really need to focus on, for now.

I'll be back sometime next week with my super long blog~~

Also, don't forget about Laurren and I's party!

Make sure you have a costume!

And you can bring people we don't know but they better have a costume and bring a money gift.

Because it is our party after all.

And srsly, I need money so I can buy myself this for a birthday present.

I feel lame asking but people don't bring presents to birthdays any more.

And Laurren wants money for make-up, or whatever.

But mines more important, haha.

So yeah, I'm gonna go.

Freaky Friday~ (Saturday Edition)

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday I spent all day at UCLA taking pictures of my friend Micah and his friends for end-of-the-year memories.

And when I got home I fell asleep for two hours.

Traffic is really exhausting!

So right now I'm getting ready for all of my finals and stuff and it sucks.

My finals week starts June 7th and I just want it to be over with already.

I am so ready for the summer and to (hopefully) have a job, and sleep, and knit, and sew, and read, and do all the stuff I haven't had time for.

Here's a couple of things I can't wait to knit.

Still have to finish Roseanna's hat which will probably take me three days, I just don't have that time right now. ):

This awesome lace scarf which is gonna be super challenging but I'm excited.

The coolest baby booties I've ever seen~

And a super awesome berry baby hat.

And I wanna knit tons of other things, of course, but these are at the top of the list right now.

Oh and I'm going to be doing a major sewing project for the first time since...

I don't know. I guess Tyler's Christmas Quilt.

This week I watched Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time in... I don't know, three years?

I totally forgot how much I love this movie.

And watching it I just think about the cool costumes I wanna make.

I mean, come on, look at Brad's tux!

A plaid cummerbund and bowtie?!

So freaking awesome.

Last night I watched Donnie Darko for the first time in a long time, too.

I freaking love this movie. 

It's about wormholes and schizophrenia and Sparkle Motion and jet plane engines.

Oh and it stars Jake Gyllenhaal and it really doesn't get any better than that.

And it's awesome because Maggie Gyllenhaal is also in it and they play brother and sister, haha.

Well, that's all for this week.

Now I have to go get a bunch of stuff done and do some homework and blagh.

So the new Ben & Jerry's flavours are out for this year.

 And Milk & Cookies is the best ice cream I have ever eaten.

It's like cookies and cream with tons of cookies.

It kind of tastes like the Tollhouse ice cream cookie sandwiches.

But man, I could eat a pound of it.

Frank & Sons

So on Saturday I went to Frank & Sons with Tyler, Jessica, and Chance.

Tyler just hung out with some friends and talked about Magic the Gathering and Jessica, Chance, and I walked around and were weirded out by all of the nerds. Haha.

But it was nice to hang out with Chance, especially after such a long time.

So me and Chris Huerta are homies, dawg. 

But we never hang out.

So Tyler and I went over to Chris's and hung out with him, Jonathan, and Casey.
We mostly just sat and watched Youtube videos and ate pizza.

On Sunday Tyler, Michelle, and I were hanging out and went on a bike ride~~
We went to Subway and ate some sammiches and then went to Royal Oak and played Bocce Ball.
Yeah, we're old people, so what?
But dang, I need to work out more.
The next day I had never felt more sore.

"I couldn't afford a mortar and pestle so I just bought 2 pestles. It's not working out so well. I lose everything I pestle."

I haven't had Yogurtland since the summer, I think.
But it's so good.
Tyler ate well OVER A POUND OF YOGURT.

I hardly know what day it is. I don't have school or anything to do.

I've been home for less than three days and I want to go back to Clovis, already.

I have, like, one friend here who I actually hang out with.

I mean, yeah sure I have friends but not ones that I can just text out of nowhere or just hang out with and do nothing.

Seriously, Tyler is my best friend.

We can be doing separate things and as long as we're in the same room I'm happy.

And here it's a lot harder to feel happy.

I sound so depressing but, it's the truth.

So anyways, some good news: I'm on the Dean's List at Mt. SAC and I can now join Alpha Gamma Sigma.
I thought that was a sorority but I guess it's an honor society and they have scholarship fundssss.
So I'm thinking about joining~

And I really hope I get the classes I want when I register or I'm just gonna be stuck at Mt. SAC for 5 years or something.


So some creative stuff I want to do is:

---> make a needle roll

---> make a garland

---> have a photo shoot

---> knit a pair of socks

---> sew a ton of pillows for my bed

That's all I'm worrying about right now.
There are a ton of other things I'd like to try and learn but for now, these are the major things.


Today I need to clean up my room.
I was trying to find something yesterday and in the process, destroyed my room.
This is actually the messiest it's been this year.
Weird...

I also need to just knit that other mitten and get it over with.
I mean, the sooner I have it done the sooner I can relax or start working on other things.

I also need to sew some jeans.
It's weird having more than just one pair of jeans.
And also annoying because I have to sew all of them to fit.


Well, I better get started on all of that.

Freaky Friday

This will be my 15th Freaky Friday but... I'm tired of it.

I can't really think of things to talk about and it's just gotten a little boring.

But I do enjoy having a weekly blog update.

Maybe I'll do "A Week in the Life" and talk about my week or something.

I don't know.

But that's what I'll do right now, talk about what I'm working on a such.

So here we gooooooooooo~~

So last week before I went to Clovis I decided I needed a purse.

And most purses just don't appeal to me so I made my own.

I've been hoarding this fabric because I loooove it and don't want to waste it.

It has the main pocket and then a pocket on the side for important stuff.

I also exploded two sewing machine needles on it.

And oh, it was worth it.

So yesterday Luna and I hung out and went to Victoria Gardens.

And when I went to pick her up her mom made me deviled eggs! Haha.

And yes, I ate all of them.

And then her cat Skippy who is usually scared of people sat on my lap the whole time.

And then he put his butt in my face, haha.

But dude, I want a cat.

If I have to move to Floooriida I better get, like, 3 cats. >:/

And then we went to Victoria Gardens.

I got this super cute dress at Forever 21.

I don't normally wear dresses but I love this so much maybe I'll start wearing them more... (;

I also got a red and blue striped v-neck sweater that is super comfy.

Then Luna and I just walked around because she'd never been to Victoria Gardens before!

Then we left and got the "new and improved" Domino's pizza.

And yeah, it is good. It's a lot better.

The cheese is actual cheese and the crust is the best part, it's garlicky and om nom nom.

And then we watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire aka Harry Potter and the Time Everyone Cheated.

I have now seen Harry Potter 1, 3, 4, and 6. We may be watching number 5 today...

And yeah, that was yesterday.

So lately I've been wanting to try some watercolor pictures.

I just keep seeing really good watercolors and I'm like, ooooh that is so awesome looking~~~

Soooooo pretty.

I really need money because Tyler and Luna's birthdays are March 1st and it's also Tyler and I's anniversary and I need to buy presents but also, Luna and I wanna get tattoos and those are expensive.

We're totally going to get the Deathly Hallows symbol.

The few tattoos I've seen people get the crisp looking one on the left but Luna and I both like the crumpled on on the right.

So yeah, I need money, haha.

But I already know what I'm going to knit the both of them so that part is under control.

I'm knitting something for my Dad and Michelle's birthday which are both at the end of January and I really need to work on those today.

I just looooove knitting.

Oh and I really want to make a needle roll.

I don't know when I'm gonna get time to do that, though.

After these two knitting projects I'm going to try and knit, like, 4 things in February.

2010 is definitely the year of knitting, haha.

I'm not really trying to open an Etsy shop anymore.

I was looking for a real job but if I'm going to be moving to Florida I need as much free time as possible to hang out with friend and drive to Clovis.

And since a lot of people have asked:

If I move to Florida Tyler and I will break up.

Yes. It's just the truth.

We'll be almost 3,000 miles apart and that sucks.

I mean, sure, we'll probably get back together in a couple years after we're both done with school.

And we were always planning to get married or whatever after college.

So I guess it's not that big deal...

Jkz yeah it is. It might kill me. ):

So yeah, on a brighter note I'm going to try and go back to Clovis tomorrow, shoot I need to talk to my dad still, haha.

And I hate you Mt. SAC.

Registration opens on January 19th and my registration date is January 28th.

So great. I'm not going to get any of the classes I want.

I just want to drop out. :/

Well today I'm going to clean up a bit and probs watch Harry Potter with Luna and then hangout with Max tomorrow and then drive to Clovis.

Freaky Friday~~

1. Tofurky

I really don't care if you think it's stupid or looks totally gross or wah wah wah.

I love it.

It tastes soooo good. And it's never dry like real turkey.

And leftover cold tofurky sandwiches are my faaaavouriteee~~

2. Christmas lights

 I read a lot of blogs but I get a lot of inspiration from this one: http://www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com/

Her name is Elsie and she had some photos of her and friends wrapped in Christmas lights.

I thought... Hm. That looks cute. Maybe I could put some around my desk?

And then I did! Hahaha. As you can see from the top picture.

It really helps a lot when I want to sew because that side of my room is the darkest. Hahaa.

And then this week Jessica and I cleaned her room and I put lights on her bed too!

Hahaha. I like hers a lot~~~

3. Hoodies

 I really only wear one jacket and that's my Tegan and Sara jacket.

Meagan and I got matching ones at their show at the Glasshouse and I loooove it.

It's warm and  it's not really tight on my arms and it's red and has raccoons on it!

But I really need new jackets.

I put two on my Christmas list and I'm excited. Haha.

What I really want is a grey hoodie and then I'm going to sew red accents on so it kind of looks like the hotel jackets from The Royal Tenenbaums.

 This is a really bad screen-shot but there are three red stripes on the cuff and red piping on the lapel.

And it's inspired me to make a badass hoodie.

Can't wait~~

4. Embroidery

 I have always loved embroidery.

I got a ton of embroidery floss last year for Christmas and some embroidery hoops.

But I didn't even attempt to do anything.

Hahaha.

But I am feeling very inspired by all of these pictures so maybe I'll finally make an attempt at it.

Haha.

Eeehhhhh. I can't think of a 5th one.

At least one that I am content with.

So I'm gonna leave it at 4, even though I hate even numbers~~

So anyways, this week Jessica and I finally cleaned her room.

I don't have before pictures but I don't really care.

It was disgusting.

But look at it now~~

There's a floor!

It's still messy under the bed, in the closet, and in the drawers but whatever.

It looks clean and that's all that matters. Haha.

Looking back at this week I realize it was a lot of fun.

I hung out with Laurren, Casey, went to a party (lol), had Thanksgiving, and got stuff done.

And I am very happy about that.

And one last thing:

Today is my anniversary of becoming a pescetarian.

It's been 5 years.

Isn't that so insane?

That's like a child that's ready to enter kindergarten.

INSANE.

But just goes to show, I am way more dedicated than Krista.

BEEYATCH. Hahaha.

As you may or may not know, it is impossible for me to get a job.

No one wants to hire a girl who's experience is working on plays.

I almost had a job at Sears but they kept scheduling interviews at 11am, when I'm in class.

College is a bit more important to me than a job.

But I do need the money, especially with the holidays coming up.

I have my family, Tyler's family, and my friends and zero income.

It's been a whole week since I posted a blog?

Well, I'll do twice as much in one blog!

So first off, my obsessions.

1. I'm still in love with Neutral Milk Hotel but now I'm obsessed with the Pandora radio station.

It is so good. If you don't know what Pandora is, it's an online radio where you can put in a song or an artist

and they will play songs that are similar. It's really good. (:

3. Foxes.

Foxes are sooo pretty.

And they look like they're wearing tall boots. Hahaha.

Oh god. I couldn't stop laughing.

So anyways, as I am always saying, I am trying to open an Etsy shop.

Today I worked on a wallet design and I like how it turned out.

...Except they are way too small to fit cards or fold.

Oh well, at least now I know.
