Long time no see

Sorry I've been such a lagger.
But right now I'm working on a super long blog to make up for it!

It's taking me a long time to do, though.

So I'm just gonna give you a short little blog about things I wanna do in the next month~

* Find a job! 

* Completely organize all three of my dressers

* Completely organize my desk

* Empty out all three tubs in my room

* Wash bedding

* Sew myself a little crafty apron~

So I can put my scissors and other notions in an easy to reach place at all times~

* Finish some of the knitting projects I have started this year

* Finish the roll of film in my Fisheye camera and get it developed

* Sew the costume for my birthday party~

* Dye wig for my birthday party

And I think that's all I really need to focus on, for now.

I'll be back sometime next week with my super long blog~~

Also, don't forget about Laurren and I's party!

Make sure you have a costume!

And you can bring people we don't know but they better have a costume and bring a money gift.

Because it is our party after all.

And srsly, I need money so I can buy myself this for a birthday present.

So please bring a money gift. Please.

I feel lame asking but people don't bring presents to birthdays any more.

And Laurren wants money for make-up, or whatever.

But mines more important, haha.

So yeah, I'm gonna go.

Maybe wake up Tyler, not sure yet.

Freaky Friday~

Sorry I missed last week!
I just suck at blogging in the summer/when Tyler is here.
Because I blog when I don't have anything to do but now I have lots to dooooooooooo.
So here is some stuff from last week and this past week.

I really really really want this camera bag.

 I really like the red striped one.

 Too bad it's $150.

I mean, I realize I have, like, $600 but I want it to last.

This bag just needs to stop being so freaking tempting.

I didn't do much on the 4th of July. I'm not a fan of pool parties, barbecues, or fireworks.

So Vance, Max, Jessica, and I just watched some Independence Day.

I watch this movie pretty much every 4th of July. 

And it never gets old.

Especially that Jeff Goldblum. Mee-owwwwwwwwwwww~~~

I super duper cleaned my closet this week and it is awesome~

Yup, I completely emptied it out.
And I dusted and vacuumed all of it.
I even thought about painting it but then was like, nah.

And tah-dah, it's super duper clean!
I got rid of around 4 garbage bags of trash and junk and clothes.
Such an awesome feeling~

While cleaning my closet Max and Vance come over who quickly discovered I have Titanic on VHS.

So yeah, we watched it. Haha

Max cried his eyes out the whole time.

Max, Vance, Jessica, and I were hanging out Wednesday night when Max threw a hissy fit saying that if we didn't watch Paranormal Activity right that moment that he would just leave.
Just straight up yelling saying, "No. I only wanna watch Paranormal Activity. I will not watch any other movie ever. Only that. Nope."
So. We watched it.
And I did not sleep well the rest of that week.

  

Thursday was Laurren's big cosmetology test so she could get her license!
I was Laurren's model and it was soooooooooooo boring.
And my hair got super disgusting.
At the end of the day it was seriously just dripping with gel.
And Laurren didn't wash it before we left, and it sucked.
But in exchange for wasting a whole day doing the most boring thing ever Laurren finally cut my hair.

It is super duper short.
And it's all my natural hair colour and I'm not gonna dye it for a long long long time.
And I loooooooooooooooove it. (:

So Thursday wasn't the best day but Friday morning I was woken up by...
Tyler!
He sensed I wasn't having a good day and drove down to my house around 1 or 2 in the morning.
It was super bananas. But also awesome. Because we're in love and stuff.

And he's totally been here since.
And we've been partying it up, like, every night~~~

 

On Sunday Laurren made me wear make up so she could start her portfolio.
It sucked.

And that the original 5 Buddies totally hung out and it was bananas.
We had Donut Man and tried to watch Pineapple Express and had seizures and stuff.
Just like the old days.

And on Monday Buddies drove to...
Las Vegas~

Reasons why we drove to Las Vegas:

1. To drop Laurren off at Matt's air force base
2. Eat at a buffet

 And we had a crazy banana time and truly bonded like bffzzzz~~~

I hardly know what day it is. I don't have school or anything to do.

I've been home for less than three days and I want to go back to Clovis, already.

I have, like, one friend here who I actually hang out with.

I mean, yeah sure I have friends but not ones that I can just text out of nowhere or just hang out with and do nothing.

Seriously, Tyler is my best friend.

We can be doing separate things and as long as we're in the same room I'm happy.

And here it's a lot harder to feel happy.

I sound so depressing but, it's the truth.

So anyways, some good news: I'm on the Dean's List at Mt. SAC and I can now join Alpha Gamma Sigma.
I thought that was a sorority but I guess it's an honor society and they have scholarship fundssss.
So I'm thinking about joining~

And I really hope I get the classes I want when I register or I'm just gonna be stuck at Mt. SAC for 5 years or something.


So some creative stuff I want to do is:

---> make a needle roll

---> make a garland

---> have a photo shoot

---> knit a pair of socks

---> sew a ton of pillows for my bed

That's all I'm worrying about right now.
There are a ton of other things I'd like to try and learn but for now, these are the major things.


Today I need to clean up my room.
I was trying to find something yesterday and in the process, destroyed my room.
This is actually the messiest it's been this year.
Weird...

I also need to just knit that other mitten and get it over with.
I mean, the sooner I have it done the sooner I can relax or start working on other things.

I also need to sew some jeans.
It's weird having more than just one pair of jeans.
And also annoying because I have to sew all of them to fit.


Well, I better get started on all of that.

I'm done!

This ridiculously long week is dooone.

I am so excited.

Here, I'll prove to you that I'm super excited.

This is when I realized I can eat the Hershey's I've been saving to motivate myself to get through the week.

And this is me when Luna Lovegood gave me my favourite food ever yesterday (but today).
And I'mm eat these too.
They also match my sweatshirt.

I'm done.
I'm so happpyyyy.
I wasn't, like, super excited until yesterday when I was hanging out with Luna and I was talking about how I only had two things left.
And now, I'm just super happy.

I don't start school again until February 22nd.
So ridiculous, right?
I am super excited.
In that time I want to:

* knit a ton of stuff
* sew wallets
* sew pajama shorts (with the awesome fabric Roseanna gave me)
* work at the Covina Playhouse? (it's not for sure but I need money~~)
* clean my closet out once and for all
* be awesome, duh

And I don't know, what ever else comes up.
I'm so excited.
College has drained the life out of me.
I don't want to get up in the morning and I don't care about anything.
I hate it.
I am ready to get my mojo back.
Hahha.


So yeah, here is a blog as I have been lacking and don't worry, Freak Friday is on for tomorrow.

Freaky Friday~~

1. Tofurky

I really don't care if you think it's stupid or looks totally gross or wah wah wah.

I love it.

It tastes soooo good. And it's never dry like real turkey.

And leftover cold tofurky sandwiches are my faaaavouriteee~~

2. Christmas lights

 I read a lot of blogs but I get a lot of inspiration from this one: http://www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com/

Her name is Elsie and she had some photos of her and friends wrapped in Christmas lights.

I thought... Hm. That looks cute. Maybe I could put some around my desk?

And then I did! Hahaha. As you can see from the top picture.

It really helps a lot when I want to sew because that side of my room is the darkest. Hahaa.

And then this week Jessica and I cleaned her room and I put lights on her bed too!

Hahaha. I like hers a lot~~~

3. Hoodies

 I really only wear one jacket and that's my Tegan and Sara jacket.

Meagan and I got matching ones at their show at the Glasshouse and I loooove it.

It's warm and  it's not really tight on my arms and it's red and has raccoons on it!

But I really need new jackets.

I put two on my Christmas list and I'm excited. Haha.

What I really want is a grey hoodie and then I'm going to sew red accents on so it kind of looks like the hotel jackets from The Royal Tenenbaums.

 This is a really bad screen-shot but there are three red stripes on the cuff and red piping on the lapel.

And it's inspired me to make a badass hoodie.

Can't wait~~

4. Embroidery

 I have always loved embroidery.

I got a ton of embroidery floss last year for Christmas and some embroidery hoops.

But I didn't even attempt to do anything.

Hahaha.

But I am feeling very inspired by all of these pictures so maybe I'll finally make an attempt at it.

Haha.

Eeehhhhh. I can't think of a 5th one.

At least one that I am content with.

So I'm gonna leave it at 4, even though I hate even numbers~~

So anyways, this week Jessica and I finally cleaned her room.

I don't have before pictures but I don't really care.

It was disgusting.

But look at it now~~

There's a floor!

It's still messy under the bed, in the closet, and in the drawers but whatever.

It looks clean and that's all that matters. Haha.

Looking back at this week I realize it was a lot of fun.

I hung out with Laurren, Casey, went to a party (lol), had Thanksgiving, and got stuff done.

And I am very happy about that.

And one last thing:

Today is my anniversary of becoming a pescetarian.

It's been 5 years.

Isn't that so insane?

That's like a child that's ready to enter kindergarten.

INSANE.

But just goes to show, I am way more dedicated than Krista.

BEEYATCH. Hahaha.

Veterans Day

Things I got done because school was closed today:

1. Washed all dirty clothes

2. Washed sheets

3. Washed comforter

4. Charged my Zune

5. Cleaned off and organized my desk

6. Organized my shoes

7. Colour-coded one shelf of my books

8. And my manga, but it didn't make a very noticeable difference.

9. Hemmed my jeans (FINALLY)

10. Changed the time on my wall clock (FINALLY)

11. Found my headphones

12. Made a little stamp

13. Listened to Tegan & Sara and Say Anything over and over and over...

And this weekend I am hoping to start posting pictures of things I am selling.

Things I've made and things I have no use for any more.

So yeaaahhh. But today has been good.

But Laurren's coming over soon and it's going to suuuuuuuuuck.

Say whaaat?
It's been a whole week since I posted a blog?

Well, I'll do twice as much in one blog!

So first off, my obsessions.

1. I'm still in love with Neutral Milk Hotel but now I'm obsessed with the Pandora radio station.

It is so good. If you don't know what Pandora is, it's an online radio where you can put in a song or an artist

and they will play songs that are similar. It's really good. (:

2. The Greatest American Hero by Joey Scarbury

Enough said.

3. Foxes.

Foxes are sooo pretty.

And they look like they're wearing tall boots. Hahaha.

4. This picture of Thom Yorke.

I read this tumblr called http://fuckyeahthomyorke.tumblr.com/ and it's just pictures and videos of Thom Yorke, who btw is the lead singer of Radiohead, and when I saw this picture.

Oh god. I couldn't stop laughing.

I still can't. It's my computer background, it's on my Myspace, I posted it on Facebook, I tweeted it.

5. And K-POP. Which is Korean pop music.

I have loved the Wonder Girls for, forever. And now I've found Girls' Generation.

So anyways, as I am always saying, I am trying to open an Etsy shop.

Today I worked on a wallet design and I like how it turned out.

...Except they are way too small to fit cards or fold.

Oh well, at least now I know.
