Freaky Friday and Tyler~~~

I only have a few obesessions this week but I also have muuuch to tell you. (:
So let'started!

1. Throwing up
This week in every situation I just keep saying, "What if he starts throwing up and she's like 'I hate throw up!' and she starts throwing up..."
And I think it's pretty hilarious. Hahhaa.
I think Tyler might be done with it by now, haha.

2. Say Anything!
I have loved Say Anything since, probably, freshman year? Yeah, that sounds about right...
Anyways, Tyler and I saw them this week and it was probably the best show I've ever been too.
Yeah, even better than Tegan and Sara at the Henry Fonda Music Box, and that show ruuuuled.
I'll talk more about the show itself later but anyways, Say Anything is really goood.
They are a punk/indie? band and only have a couple of studio albums but they have a lot of hard to find demos that are awesome.
There's not much I want to say about them except that I knew about them before Tyler! I'm the one who told him about him so he needs to shut up! Hahaha.

3. Short Hair
In case you don't know for some reason, I shaved my head last year.
I've been growing my hair out ever since but it's become very bothersome.
It doesn't rinse conditioner out very well, it's heavy on my neck, I don't know how to style it, etc...
So I just love short hair.
But I think I'm just going to stick to growing my hair out since I've been trying for sooo looong.

Well, that's all for my obsessions but I've had a pretty eventful week...

~~~
Monday I had school. And yeah. Haha.
Tuesday I had school. But my drawing teacher let us out 30 minutes early! It totally ruled. Oh, and I got a 9/10 on both of my drawings. (:
I came home and was booored.
Then Jessica walked in and I was like, "Uh. How did you get home?"
And some LUMMOX popped out! Hahaa.
Yeah, it was Tyler.
He was going to come Wednesday but instead he came a day early! Haha.
But I had a job interview so the three of us went to the mall.
I went to Sears while they walked around.
This was my second interview and it wasn't that bad.
I'm pretty positive I have the job. (:
Anyways when I was done I found Tyler and Jessica in the arcade.
It sucked so we went to the food court.
Tyler and I had some Sbarro pizzaaaa and Jessica had a Brownie Earthquake.
We were just sitting there talking mad trash on everyone when Jessica was like, "Is that Luna Lovegood?"
And it was!
Luna is actually my friend Casey but she totally looks like Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter so that's pretty much just her name now. Hahaha.
So I yelled "LUNAAA LOVEGOOOD!" And then her and her friend Kyle came over.
We sat and talked and watched the TV at Jollibee for about 45 minutes.
It was mostly hilarious.
So yeah, I was getting tired and we decided to go home.
And then Tyler and I just huggled and laughed all night.
I'd also like to say that we made history:
This was pretty much the first time ever we laughed all of the first day instead of fighting.
I don't know why but the first day we're together is never badass or anything. Haha.
Wednesdayyyyy.
I had school.
I went to History of Fashion and we had a sub and just watched Becoming Jane with Anne Hathaway.
I was like, dang, I left huggles for thiiis?
And then my math class was cancelled so I came home and Tyler and I got Jack in the Box.
We came back to my house and Vance came over.
We ended up going to see Zombieland. It was pretty good.
I liked it, not loved it.
But at least I didn't hate it like Vance...
Also, since it was, like two in the afternoon there was only two other people in there besides us.
After the movie I got a call to set up my third Sears interview and I told her that I couldn't have it at 11am because I have school and she said she would call me back but never did. ):
So the three of us went back to my house and they played HORSE with Jessica and I did my homework.
And then it was time to leave for Say Anything!
~~~
Awhile ago Greg was telling us that a four-pack of tickets for the show was extremely cheaper than individually buying them so it was going to be him, Danny, Tyler, and me.
But nope. Greg is a pathological liar.
And never bought the tickets.
He claims he's not lying but he has about zero proof of it.
We went to Will Call and had them check under Tyler's name, Greg's name, and Greg's parents names. Nope.
Hm. Bit fishy, isn't it?
We asked Greg to go into his email and give us the confirmation number but, lo and behold! he doesn't have the email.
And it's already pretty sketchy when he flaked out on the show when Say Anything is his favorite band evarrr omggzz lolololol.
So yup. That was his last chance.
We have now changed our minds of liking Greg and hating his friends to liking Turnquist and hating his friends.
Turnquist was nice enough to let us have one of the tickets from his four-pack so we just had to buy one ticket.
There was a lot of unneeded annoying stress in that forty-five minutes before the show.
After the ticket snafu Turnquist let us cut with him and we just talked trash for twenty minutes.

We were inside waiting to go into the main room when some kid was like, "MAX BEMIS IS RIGHT THEEEREE~~~"
And he waaaas.
He was behind the merch table with his wife Sherri DuPree, the lead singer of Eisley.
They left to walk backstage and Tyler and I were (---) this close to them.
And I made eye contact with Max!
I wish I had said something but what would I have said?
"OMGZ IM UR NUMBER 1 FAN I LOVE YOU ILYZ OMG PLZ MARRY ME UR SO HAWT OMGGG"
So yeah, better I kept my mouth shut. Haha.
They started letting people in and we stuck with Turnquist and Paden and their friends and Tegan and Sara. Haha.
Then Tyler got a text from Dylan saying that he and Heaven were there.
I wasn't friends with Dylan but we have made amends now.
I made amends with Dillon and Dylan in one night. Hahah.
So Heaven had Swedish Fish and it ruled.
There were a ton of opening bands (Picture Atlantic, Moving Mountains, Moneen, and Eisley) so the plan was to move closer with each band.
The bands were okay, it's just they weren't anything like Say Anything.
So yeah.

And during Moneen a ton of people knew them and were moshing and it sucked.
But we were able to get very close.

For Eisley we ended up being only about five people back.
And they were so gooood.
I'm not the biggest Eisley fan but I have a couple CDs and I like them and they were sooo goood live.
And Max Bemis came and played guitar for Sherri while she sang the song and it ruled.
I loved it so much.

After their set they closed the curtains to set up for Say Anything!
In the 45 minutes we were waiting we were able to move up a bit and were about three people away from the front.
And at one point someone stuck their hand out and threw a drumstick into the audience.
Hahah, pretty funny, but it landed no where near us.

Oh, and let me start off my saying, I'm not racist and I don't mean to be racist right now.
There was seriously one black guy in the whole venue and he was ruining everything.
He kept trying to start moshes and he kept messing with Turnquist.
And while waiting for Say Anything he was messing with Tyler so he shoved him down and the black guys friends were like "DON'T BE A DOUCHE MAN, QUIT BEIN A DOUCHE."
Like, yeah, okay, we're the ones yelling that "EVERYONE IS NOW BLACK."
Wtf does that even mean?
After Tyler showed him what's up he calmed down a bit so that was good.

Around... 10:45pm we hear some music.
I thought it was like some 8-bit music, like something you'd hear while playing Mario Bros.
And then the curtains opened to reveal several cardboard boxes cut to look like buildings with Christmas lights inside of them!
It was super cool.
And then the band came out.
They were all wearing the same thing and had cut their hair!
Haha, and then they startedddd.
I found the set list on the forum so here's that first.

Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too
Alive With the Glory of Love
It's a Metaphor, Fool
Shiksa (Girlfriend)
Hate Everyone
Yellow Cat/Red Cat
Have At Thee!
This Is Fucking Ecstasy
Eloise
Woe
Baby Girl
Mara and Me
Slowly Through a Vector
The Futile
-Encore-
Crush'd
Spores
Admit It!!

For the first two songs Max didn't even have to sing, the audience did it for him. Hahaha.
And when Alive with the Glory of Love started this girl next to me SCREAMED "I HATE THIS SONG". I was like, wtf is your problem?
Probably because it's their most popular song, I'd say.
It's been on the radio and stuff.
So that ruled.

And every song from In Defense of the Genre he gave a weird name to.
Shiksa was "Non-Jewish Girl"
And I can't remember the other ones but it was weird.

I was really happy with all the ...Is a Real Boy songs they played.
And I liked the new songs.

But the whole time I thought I was going to die.
It was very hot.
Everyone kept shoving closer to the stage and left and right.
I was very terrifed of falling and getting trampled.
But thankfully Tyler was there to hold me up. (:
I felt bad for Heaven because she kept getting crushed but Tyler and Dylan held people off of her and it was very nice.
So no longer is it that I hate Dylan and like Heaven while Tyler hates Heaven and likes Dylan. Haha.

So yeah, I loved every moment, pretty much.
Besides the being crushed and being so sweaty it was like I jumped into a pool.
After "The Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile Futile"
They said thanks and left.
But then a roadie came up and set up another microphone.
Like, oh, I wonder if there will be an encore?
Haha.

Max Bemis came out and sang Crush'd by himself and it was beautfiulll.

And the last song was Admit It! which ruled sooo hard.

I was thankful when it was over but only because I was dying so hard.
Heaven bought a shirt and then the four of us went outside and sat down.
Dylan found a water fountain so we went and chowed down.
Hahaha.

Dylan and Heaven walked with us to the parking lot and they got picked up by her mom.
Tyler and I drove home and it ruled.
Then we huggled and talked and we went to bed.

It was overall an awesome night.
All of the goods/greats outweighed the bad/BS.

Thursday.
I had school and then I came home so I could do laundry and pack.
Tyler and I didn't end up leaving until, like 4pm.
But there was pretty much no traffic except for when the 210 met up with the 5.
It was a nice drive. (:

We got to Tyler's at 8pm.
We watched Bones and ate fish tacos.
Stephanie came over and we watched Grey's Anatomyyyy.
After we watched SiCKO and it was super sad.
And Stephanie left and that was that night.

Friday.
Today Tyler went to school and I've been working on this all day.
So yeahhh. (:

And of course, I'll close with a little video.
