Freaky Friday

This will be my 15th Freaky Friday but... I'm tired of it.

I can't really think of things to talk about and it's just gotten a little boring.

But I do enjoy having a weekly blog update.

Maybe I'll do "A Week in the Life" and talk about my week or something.

I don't know.

But that's what I'll do right now, talk about what I'm working on a such.

So here we gooooooooooo~~

So last week before I went to Clovis I decided I needed a purse.

And most purses just don't appeal to me so I made my own.

I've been hoarding this fabric because I loooove it and don't want to waste it.

It has the main pocket and then a pocket on the side for important stuff.

I also exploded two sewing machine needles on it.

And oh, it was worth it.

So yesterday Luna and I hung out and went to Victoria Gardens.

And when I went to pick her up her mom made me deviled eggs! Haha.

And yes, I ate all of them.

And then her cat Skippy who is usually scared of people sat on my lap the whole time.

And then he put his butt in my face, haha.

But dude, I want a cat.

If I have to move to Floooriida I better get, like, 3 cats. >:/

And then we went to Victoria Gardens.

I got this super cute dress at Forever 21.

I don't normally wear dresses but I love this so much maybe I'll start wearing them more... (;

I also got a red and blue striped v-neck sweater that is super comfy.

Then Luna and I just walked around because she'd never been to Victoria Gardens before!

Then we left and got the "new and improved" Domino's pizza.

And yeah, it is good. It's a lot better.

The cheese is actual cheese and the crust is the best part, it's garlicky and om nom nom.

And then we watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire aka Harry Potter and the Time Everyone Cheated.

I have now seen Harry Potter 1, 3, 4, and 6. We may be watching number 5 today...

And yeah, that was yesterday.

So lately I've been wanting to try some watercolor pictures.

I just keep seeing really good watercolors and I'm like, ooooh that is so awesome looking~~~

Soooooo pretty.

And this scene is always going to be the funniest scene from Clerks2.

I really need money because Tyler and Luna's birthdays are March 1st and it's also Tyler and I's anniversary and I need to buy presents but also, Luna and I wanna get tattoos and those are expensive.

We're totally going to get the Deathly Hallows symbol.

The few tattoos I've seen people get the crisp looking one on the left but Luna and I both like the crumpled on on the right.

So yeah, I need money, haha.

But I already know what I'm going to knit the both of them so that part is under control.

I'm knitting something for my Dad and Michelle's birthday which are both at the end of January and I really need to work on those today.

I just looooove knitting.

Oh and I really want to make a needle roll.

I have, like, 4 sets of DPNs, like in the picture, but I'd love to make one for my needle tips and cables.

I don't know when I'm gonna get time to do that, though.

After these two knitting projects I'm going to try and knit, like, 4 things in February.

2010 is definitely the year of knitting, haha.

I'm not really trying to open an Etsy shop anymore.

I was looking for a real job but if I'm going to be moving to Florida I need as much free time as possible to hang out with friend and drive to Clovis.

And since a lot of people have asked:

If I move to Florida Tyler and I will break up.

Yes. It's just the truth.

We'll be almost 3,000 miles apart and that sucks.

I mean, sure, we'll probably get back together in a couple years after we're both done with school.

And we were always planning to get married or whatever after college.

So I guess it's not that big deal...

Jkz yeah it is. It might kill me. ):

So yeah, on a brighter note I'm going to try and go back to Clovis tomorrow, shoot I need to talk to my dad still, haha.

And I hate you Mt. SAC.

Registration opens on January 19th and my registration date is January 28th.

So great. I'm not going to get any of the classes I want.

I just want to drop out. :/

Well today I'm going to clean up a bit and probs watch Harry Potter with Luna and then hangout with Max tomorrow and then drive to Clovis.

Super awes.

Clovis and Florida

Hello!

So after my last post I remembered my camera originally came with a 18-55mm lens.

Imagine how foolish I felt when I dug that out and realized I had a macro lens all along!

So here are a couple pictures that I never could have taken with my other lens.

So yeah, anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaays, last week Idk when Tyler's sister Makkael was like, Sup I'm going to Clovis on Sunday wanna come?

So I was like, totally, like yeah duhhhhhhhhhh.

And on Sunday her and her new boyfriend Michael picked up up at 5pm and we hit the roaaaaad.

It was awesome and Michael is a lot better than Makkael's last bf. Haha.

We got to Clovis around 9pm and we all hung out with Tyler's family a lil and just relaxed.

Tyler started school the next day and after he left Max and Gen picked me up because they were stopping through on their way to San Francisco.

We had Denny's and then Tyler picked me up and we went back to his house.

We mostly just hung out and chilled.

Then Tyler had a night class so I downloaded Mean Girls and watched that and then took a shower and then I had a missed call from my dad...

He left a voicemail that sounded serious and I thought I was going to get in trouble for using my AmEx too much or that I needed to come home ASAP or whatever. I had no idea what was going to happen.

My dad's current job will no longer exist come June 30th.

And the only job that seems available at this time is in Tampa, Florida.

Yup. The exact opposite side of the country.

I don't know what to think or what to do.

Tyler's whole family thinks I should just move in with them, haha.

But then I think about Jessica who is going to not have her senior year of high school with her friends and I think that I can't just leave her all alone.

I don't know.

Hopefully he can get another job still here at PriceWaterhouseCoopers because man. This sucks.

So yeah, that is the most earth-shattering news I have ever received and thought you all had a right to know.

So enough sad stuff, here's some pictures of me and Tyler! (:

I'll probs upload all of them to Facebook tonight, so yeahhhh.

And this morning we left Clovis at 10am and got here around 2pm and I've just been chilling ever since.

I'm going to try and go back to Clovis next week because I don't have school until February 22nd and if I'm going to be moving to Florida I'd like to spend as much time as possible with Tyler.

Freaky Friday

Hello, how are you? Like those shoes, love your hair.

So this week has been party time all the time.

Tyler just left Wednesday night and I already miss him.

But while he was here it was awesome.

We hung out with people, ate tons of candy, went to the movies (say what?!), and huggled~~

So I don't have too many favourites today because I was too busy being in love, duh. Hahaha.

1. New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Jessica and I got this for Christmas and it is a pretty fun game to do when hanging out with people.

Especially when they are bad at it.

Hahaha.

2. Candy!

Tyler, Jessica, and I went to Wal*Mart and went crazy.

And I have eaten more candy than I should eat all year this week. Haha.

3. Macro/50mm lens

I have an 18-200mm lens right now and I'm getting pretty tired of it.

Yeah, it's good for landscapes and portraits and group pictures but that's not what I am interested more.

Now that I knit I want to take pictures of my projects and it's near impossible with my lens.

I am obsessing over 50mm lenses but I have zero money and it suuuuucks.

I am going to start saving money now and try to get one by April.

Because I have birthday presents to deal with first and I think I can do it by then.

So that's all I have for this week, sorry!

But guess what.

My knitting needles came this week!

They are KnitPicks Options Interchangeable Zephyr Acrylic Circular Knitting Needle set.

They are soooo awesome.

I haven't started any new projects yet because I still have a scarf and headband to finish buy I'm itching to use them.

I JUST WANT A PET

The only pet I've ever had (besides fish, those creepy things don't count) was a rabbit named Peter.
I got him in kindergarten and he died when I was a 10th grader.

It was a very sad day.

I still miss him so much. And I would love to have another rabbit.

But an indoors one that I would litter train and would sleep in my room.

Or any pet for that matter.

It only sort of sucks a lot.

It kind of gets lonely around here. ):

Just a quickie

And haha to all of my high school friends who had to start today.

Tyler starts on the 11th and I start February 22nd so it's just party time all of the time.

I've had a pretty good new year so far.

I've hung out with good friends and watched good movies and started some knitting projects and rearranged my desk and it's just pretty awesome.

So here is the hat I finished but on it's owner.

It took me longer than it should have but, eh.

And I made a few mistakes but now I just know what to do when I make it next time.

Yes, I'm sure I'm going to make this a couple more times.

And I had a crazy idea to switch the sides where my computer and sewing machine are on my desk and I overall did not like it.

But when I switched them back I was able to organize my junk and I love how it looks now.

My dad finally drilled a hole for the wall socket and it is not flush against the wall and I moved it to the left a little bit.

I finally got some bulletin boards and I just need to put stuff on them! Haha.

Well, this was just a short blog to let you see some sweet stuff and for me to get it out of my system, haha.

Oh hey, long time no seeee.

I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year.

I sure did.

I spent Christmas with my family and went to Clovis on the 26th and Tyler and I got back around 6pm yesterday.

And oh man I got soooo muuuuch stuuuuffff. :3

A down comforter.

White sheets.

Two pillows.

The Shoes Under!

A super nice tripod.

Three giant skeins of yarn in purple, black, and blue.

And I got two pairs of jeans, a coat rack, a black hoodie (and a grey one is coming in the mail), $40 to Forever21, and $40 from my grandma.

And Tyler's family got me a ton of stuff.

A green scarf, hat, and gloves.

A purple and a green thermal.

Also, not pictured, a grey thermal hoodie that I loove.

A bunch of Hello Kitty stuff and toys in my stocking.

And Tyler's mom crocheted me a blanket. (:

Tyler got me

A knitting calender with over 100 patterns that I am super excited to start.

And Zelda: Spirit Tracks! Even though I still need to beat Phantom Hourglass, hahaa.

And Luna Lovegood got me a ton of awes Hello Kitty stufffff.

Page dividers, chopsticks, ribbon, key chains, ribbon, gel pens, pad of paper, and a Charmy Kitty piggy bank.

Oh, and Veronica Snell got me a skein of yaaarn.

And while in Clovis there was a sale on yarn at Joann's and I got all of this for under $20!

Now I'd say I have a pretty respectable stash. (:

So yeah, that's pretty much all I want to talk about.

Next Friday should be the usual Freaky Friday stuff.

One last thing,

I finished my very first hat!

Yay! I am becoming a real knitter who actually makes things!

Hahaha.

So alright, I think I'm going to clean my room, again.
